Bach Mouthpiece Models by Year
A common search term on early Vincent Bch mouthpieces was when certain models were introduced and what models have been discontinued over the years. The summary and detailed references below are from Vincent Bach/Vincent Bach Corporation catalogs through the 1950s.
Note: This list does not explain why there are examples of other models, but perhaps they were special models made for a specific player, but they were NOT advertised to the general public in catalogs or advertisements.
If you have other examples of references, please get in touch with us through the website footer.
While Bach 3C, 5C, 7C, or 10.5C mouthpieces are common today for trumpet/cornet players, they were not introduced until later in the Bach mouthpiece catalog listing for sale. Below are Bach’s mouthpiece model references and the approximate year of first manufacture and advertisement.
