Vincent Bach Slide Oil
As expected, the Vincent Bach Corporation offered many accessories and supplies for purchasers of his instruments. One of these items was valve oil and slide oil to be used on his instruments. As you can imagine, not many of these examples are around due to the nature of them being used and discarded.
The New York & Mt. Vernon bottles match the Bach Valve Oil offerings, only slightly changing the label and description.

During the early Elkhart era (1965), Selmer switched the valve and slide oil packaging to the same plastic dispenser style. Note using the updated Bach logo, with lines on top and bottom from 1965.
“Silicone helps Bach Slide Oil lubricate longer without breaking down because it is more water-resistant than ordinary oil. Trombone slides remain more sanitary too, with Hexachlorophene to help keep them germ free.
